Councilmember Harrell to convene discussion on plan to reduce downtown crime, street disorder

Seattle - City Councilmember Bruce Harrell will convene the Public Safety, Civil Rights, and Technology committee meeting this Wednesday to discuss ongoing initiatives to reduce downtown crime and street disorder through targeted outreach and social services to individuals.

Representatives from the Office of the Mayor, City Attorney's Office, King County Prosecutor's office, Seattle Police Department, Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program and Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) will be at the table to discuss the ongoing work to improve public safety.

WHO:
Councilmember Harrell has invited the following representatives:

  3. Hyeok Kim, Deputy Mayor
  4. Assistant Chief Washburn, Seattle Police Department
