SEATTLE - The Paramount Theater opens its 2013 Broadway season under new bright lights that will save the theater about $43,000 a year while preserving its historic character.
Seattle City Light helped make the $438,000 project possible with $136,000 in rebates.
Reporters and photographers are invited to a behind-the-scenes look at the new lighting Thursday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. Come see how this upgrade will improve the Paramount's bottom line while preserving its historical character.
Immediately following the press event, Seattle Theater Group is hosting a Wizard of Oz chat back in advance of the matinee performance. There, you'll be able to see a demonstration of costumes, props and wigs from the show and talk with members of the production team.
