Apply for funding by July 8 to support your Night Out event
Small Sparks Fund supports neighborhoods' community engagement activities

June 27, 2013 (Seattle, WA) – If your neighborhood plans to participate in the annual Night Out event on August 6, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Small Sparks Fund is available to support your activities. The deadline to apply is Monday, July 8, but applicants must register to apply by July 1.

The Small Sparks Fund provides matching dollars for neighborhood-initiated projects that promote community engagement. Community groups can request up to $1000 to help fund Night Out planning and activities such as outreach efforts, educational fairs, youth concert, bike parades, neighborhood cleanups, and entertainment, to name a few.
