City Hall Open House to be held on Saturday, April 6
Program includes office tours, music, food trucks
Please join Mayor Mike McGinn, the Seattle City Council and the City Attorney's Office for the fourth annual City Hall Open House this Saturday, April 6. City Hall will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Just as in past years, there will be informational booths hosted by City departments, guided tours of the mayor's and councilmembers' offices, and low income utility assistance tutorials and registration.
Make sure you come hungry. South Seattle Community College's Culinary Arts Program will be hosting a cupcake and hat decorating event from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Skillet Food Truck will be parked outside from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
City Hall is more than just information about city programs, office tours and cupcakes. The School of Acrobatics will demonstrate their circus arts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. And Massive Monkees will perform at noon.
Last, but certainly not least, the Seattle Public Library will host a story time from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"Come on down to City Hall this Saturday," said Mayor Mike McGinn. "Bring the whole family and help us celebrate our great city."
