Still looking for constructive summer activities for kids ages 10 to 17?
Green Lake Small Craft Center has sailing classes available
If you’re still looking for fun, challenging activities for your child between the ages of 10 and 17, Green Lake Small Craft Center has the answer. Youth sailing camps offer kids the opportunity to learn to sail, a skill that will help keep them safe in the water and last a lifetime.
Kids will have a great time learning sailing skills in our Toppers at Green Lake. Both new and experienced sailors can register. Learn the basics of sailing, rigging, safety, and boat handling. Participants must weigh at least 80 lbs; we provide life jackets. Each class is four hours long.
To sign up, please go to www.seattle.gov/parks, click on SPARC, and use the class codes below.
