Focuses on City’s seawall project
Come learn about and discuss the City’s Sewall Project from the project managers who are overseeing planning and implementation of the work on Seattle’s Waterfront.
Join Jennifer Wieland with the Seattle Department of Transportation and Nathan Torgelson with Seattle Parks and Recreation at the Senior Coffee Hour on Thursday, June 21, 10 to 11 a.m., in the Central Building, 810 3rd Ave., 1st floor, Seattle, WA 98104. Sponsored by the Seattle Human Services Department’s Mayor’s Office for Senior Citizens, the event is free and open to the public.
The Elliott Bay Seawall Project will replace the existing seawall—from S. Washington St. to Broad St.—with a structure that meets current safety and design standards. For more information, please visit: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/seawall.htm.
