Senior Coffee Hour on May 17 Focuses on Resources for Seniors
Learn about resources in the community that help seniors maintain their health and stay in and keep their homes.
Join senior advocate Alain Rhone at the Senior Coffee Hour on Thursday, May 17, 10 to 11 a.m., in the Central Building, 810 3rd Ave., 1st floor, Seattle, WA 98104. Sponsored by the Seattle Human Services Department's Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens, the event is free and open to the public.
Rhone has worked as an advocate in Senior Services' Information and Assistance (I&A) Program for eight years and is a font of information about resources for seniors and persons with disabilities. The Seattle Human Services Department's Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens supports healthy aging, financial stability, independent living and opportunities for social and civic engagement, through a variety of services that contribute to self-sufficiency and enhance quality of life, including the Senior Information and Assistance Program, 55+ Employment Resource Center, Seniors Training Seniors computer training, Senior Coffee Hours, and more.
