Planning Seattle’s Future
Public Meeting about Climate Action Plan and Comprehensive Plan
Seattle will add more than 100,000 residents by 2035, along with thousands of new jobs. Both Seattle’s Comprehensive Plan and the Climate Action Plan will help Seattle make important decisions on how to handle that growth sustainably and sensibly. On May 3rd, the public is invited to join City Planners and the Seattle Planning Commission for an interactive and thought-provoking discussion on the future of Seattle.
The presentation and breakout sessions will focus on climate change actions, walkable communities, and attractive and functional buildings and streets.
This meeting is an important step in making major updates to the Seattle Comprehensive Plan and for learning more about the Climate Action Plan.
