The City Attorney’s Office has charged Juston D. Thompson of Seattle with three misdemeanors in connection with the Occupy Seattle protest at Westlake Park.
Thompson was charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer, fourth-degree assault and reckless endangerment (Seattle Municipal Court case #572920). Each is a gross misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of 364 days in jail and a $5,000 fine.
Thompson is accused of squirting a water pistol at an SPD officer on Oct. 8. A pretrial hearing is set for 10 a.m. Nov. 14 in Courtroom 902 at Seattle Municipal Court. He is out of custody on the $1,425 bail he posted the night of his arrest.
