Seattle City Council to continue Families and Education Levy discussion

Seattle – The City Council will convene again tomorrow at noon for a meeting of the Special Committee on Educational Achievement for Seattle Schoolchildren.

WHEN:          Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, noon

WHERE:        Council Chambers, Second Floor
                      Seattle City Hall, 600 Fourth Avenue

WHAT:          Education leaders and researchers will present an overview of key student transition points, dropout indicators and the need for sustained support services to prepare students for college and career in today’s market.
