City of Seattle to take action in support of historic health care reform

SEATTLE – WEDNESDAY, March 24, 2010, Seattle City Council will be joined by City Attorney Pete Holmes in council chambers to show their united support of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act reforming health care insurance.

The Council is expected to vote on a resolution in support of the recent federal legislation and of Governor Gregoire’s position challenging Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna’s authority to file a lawsuit on the behalf of the people of Washington state.
