Weekend Paving on Stewart Street

SEATTLE—SDOT’s contractors plan to replace a concrete panel at the intersection of Stewart Street and Boren Avenue on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, weather permitting. Work will start as early as 9 a.m. and will conclude by 4:30 p.m.

Two lanes of traffic will remain open westbound on Stewart Street.  Boren Avenue will have one lane of traffic open in each direction.  Uniformed police officers and flaggers will be on site to offer assistance and keep vehicles moving.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
