Sidewalk Repair to Begin on South Dearborn Street in the International District

SEATTLE-SDOT paving crews will repair the sidewalk and install new curb ramps on both sides of South Dearborn Street between Sixth Avenue South and Ninth Avenue South from August 24 and September 20. The crews will work on one side of the street at a time and will provide a pedestrian detour. The bicycle lane and curb lane on the side of the street where crews are working will also be closed and cyclists will merge with regular traffic.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
