Community information will be provided through a series of open houses. The first – held on Oct. 26, 2013 – provided more information on the site selection process, how the site meets SPD's operational needs, the development schedule, and future opportunities for public comment. A second open house on June 6, 2015, offered an opportunity to see the preliminary designs and offer feedback and general comments. A third open house for the design phase of the new North Precinct Police Station project took place on Jan. 23, 2016. Information presented included project status, preliminary designs, proposed schedule, opportunities for public input and more.
