South Park Lives! (Before & After Bridge Closure)
The South Park Bridge, originally opened in 1931, closed June 30, 2010 at 7 pm. Click here to view photos of the Bridge Closure Wake Event. The City of Seattle has released its Draft South Park Bridge Closure Response Plan. The plan is focused on community activation, business assistance, public safety, transportation and physical improvement strategies.
