P-Patch Community Gardens
New Holly Power Garden
This terraced community garden is located in the City of Seattle Power Line Right of Way adjacent to the New Holly community. The terraces are built with recycled concrete sidewalks from the Holly Park community. Over 150 people both community members and community volunteer group including Americorps, Seattle Works and Youth Volunteer Corps worked a total of 1200 hours to build this garden. The gardeners are New Holly residents who live in subsidized rental housing or are homeowners.
