P-Patch Community Gardens
Burke-Gilman Gardens

Making Soil Sandpoint
Opened in 1989, the Burke-Gilman P-Patch nestles in a housing development between the trail and Sandpoint Way. Cyclists whizzing by on the Burke-Gilman trail may not realize that a neighborhood P-Patch is just a tomato's throw away. The garden was updated in the mid-90s and incorporated into the expanding housing development. This garden is home to many recent immigrants from eastern Europe. If you are interested in the potential of gardening here get on the list, you can do that by clicking here.
