About The P-Patch
Making Soil Sandpoint
Opened in 1989, the Burke-Gilman P-Patch nestles in a housing development between the trail and Sandpoint Way. Cyclists whizzing by on the Burke-Gilman trail may not realize that a neighborhood P-Patch is just a tomato's throw away. The garden was updated in the mid-90s and incorporated into the expanding housing development. This garden is home to many recent immigrants from eastern Europe.
