NewHolly Farm Stand opens today
Open through September offering fresh organic produce

July 22, 2011 (Seattle, WA) The NewHolly Farm Stand officially opens today, July 22, offering fresh organic produce picked right from the NewHolly P-Patch Market Garden. Located at S Holly Park Drive and 40th Ave S (2 blocks SW of the Othello light rail station), the farm stand is open every Friday through September from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fresh right now is spinach, carrots, leafy vegetables, new onions, peas, and zucchini, to name a few.

Seattle P-Patch Market Gardens is a partnership developed with the community by the P-Patch Community Gardening Program in collaboration with the Seattle Housing Authority and P-Patch Trust to support low-income gardeners. Its mission is to establish safe, healthy communities and economic opportunity through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and farm stand enterprises. In addition to the NewHolly Farm Stand, the High Point Market Garden Farm Stand is open on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 32nd Avenue SW and SW Juneau Street.
