Mayor McGinn and SDOT Director welcome nomination of Lynn Peterson SEATTLE - Mayor Mike McGinn and Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) Director Peter Hahn today welcomed the nomination of Lynn Peterson to serve as secretary of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) by Governor Inslee. "With Seattle and the state facing a number of critical transportation issues, we welcome Lynn Peterson’s appointment as the new secretary of the Washington State Department of Transportation," said Mayor McGinn. "We view positively Lynn Peterson’s degree in urban planning, her experience as a local elected official and her leadership in transportation themes that are very similar to Seattle’s," said SDOT Director Hahn. "This bodes well for our city as we tackle critical state transportation projects." - 30 - |
