Visit
Gardner Cave at Crawford State Park. Free guided tours of Washington State's second longest limestone cave. Discovery Pass requirements for parking at state parks do apply. Watch for bald eagles, heron, swans, osprey and other waterfowl in the 155-acre Boundary Wildlife Preserve. The site purchased by Seattle City Light in 1986 extends along the Pend Oreille River.

Sullivan Lake and the
Mill Pond Historical Site. Visit the Colville National Forest ranger station or call
509.446.2681 for information on hikes and camping. In late fall and winter, watch for Bighorn sheep at the south end of the lake.
