FREE Self-Guided Tour of Solar Homes & Businesses
Saturday, October 4th, 10am-4pm
- On the Tour:
- Visit local homes and businesses with solar electric and solar hot water systems at work.
- Talk to building owners about their experiences.
- Learn about other green building techniques.
- To learn about the homes that will be on
the tour visit Solar Washington.
- At Kick-off Locations:
- Pick up a tour map.
- Taste food from solar ovens.
- Attend a Solar Energy 101 workshop
(10am and 1pm, 30 minutes long).
- Experiment with kid-sized solar projects.
- 3 Kick-Off Locations: (with links to maps)
