When it comes to energy use - a big footprint is a big problem.
Seattle City Light asked students in grades 3 to 6 to show others how they can save energy and reduce their carbon
footprint by sending in original artwork for City Light's second annual Calendar Contest.
Students throughout our service territory participated and 12 winning energy-saving tips were chosen by a panel of
judges. The student artwork was used to create a 2014 calendar that the utility will sell to support Project Share,
the utility's emergency fund.
