ELECTRICAL RELOCATIONS

Relocating Underground Lines That Are In Conflict With Station Construction

We want to keep your power on and help bring you light rail. Currently a system of underground conduits (duct bank), carrying 26kV power lines, is in the south side parking lane between Brooklyn Avenue and University Way on NE 43rd Street. It's in the way of constructing the University Station.

Sound Transit's contractor will build a new duct bank and City Light crews will pull and splice cable at the vaults associated with it. Estimated start (October, 2013) to completion date (November, 2013).
