THE CITY OF SEATTLE SEATTLE CITY LIGHT DEPARTMENT REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS ON-CALL MULTIDISCIPLINARY CONSULTING SERVICES – DISTRIBUTION BRANCH September 3, 1999 The City of Seattle, City Light Department, Distribution Branch seeks to engage a consultant to provide multidisciplinary consulting services on an on-call basis for a contract period of one year with option to extend the contract for up to two additional years in one-year increments. The selected firm must have a general knowledge of the overall operation of an electric utility sufficient to develop, plan, and maintain new and existing facilities, as well as specific expertise in some of the disciplines listed in the Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") disciplines can be provided by associate firms. Work to be performed under the contract is anticipated to be intermittent in nature with work assigned to the consultant as required by the City. Each assignment to the consultant will be given a written authorization. Each authorization may require services in any one or a combination of the disciplines listed in the Request for Qualifications.
