Working with Seattle's Climate Wise Partners |

Great Harvest Bread Company is the 10th Seattle business to join the City of Seattle in helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as part of a worldwide campaign. The Climate Wise program, sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy and promoted by The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives encourages U.S. industries and governmental entities to work cooperatively on emission reductions critical to the environment. The Global Warming Information Center provides information on the historic agreement arrived at in Kyoto, Japan, as well as links to websites devoted to this subject of international concern in, for example, Australia, Bangladesh, Latin America and the Caribbean, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Seattle City Light is proud of the work we are accomplishing with the City's Climate Wise partners for the Pacific Northwest Region.
