Please join Seattle City Light in celebrating its new Skagit Information
Center, located in the heart of Newhalem, WA. To get there, take Exit 230 from
Interstate 5 and travel east 61 miles.
The center provides an opportunity for visitors to learn about the Skagit
Hydroelectric Project, its history, physical plant, operation, environmental
programs, cultural resources and public ownership.
A dedication ceremony for the Skagit Information Center will be on June 8,
2001 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Meet the people creating this center. For
