Seattle City Light Wins Communications Awards |

SEATTLE -- Four Seattle City Light employees were awarded "Excellence in Communications" awards in the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) annual competition awards. The awards are presented to recognize outstanding communication achievements prepared by consumer-owned electric utilities across the Northwest.
Seattle City Light's winners and awards include:
- Ellanor Smith, first place for a Skagit Tour print ad,
- NancyEllen Regier, first place for a special environmental pamphlet,
- Marilyn Mar, second place for the "Light Reading" customer newsletter,
- Anne Ducey, second place for an energy management print ad,
- Anne Ducey, two third place awards for energy management print ads.
A panel of professionals not connected with utilities judged each category. Utilities were categorized by size to level the competitive playing field.
