Power restored to most of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park

SEATTLE - Seattle City Light crews have restored power to 95 percent of the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park neighborhoods, following an outage that initially affected 2,814 customers around 8:24 a.m. today.

The outage occurred as City Light crews were beginning to perform maintenance on a line. Power will be restored to the final 141 customers around 8 p.m. This area was part of a planned outage for scheduled maintenance work and customers were aware that there would be an outage today to complete the necessary repairs.

The boundaries for the original outage were:

North: NE 201st St.
South: NE 165th St.
East 49th Place NE
West: Corliss Ave N.

The planned outage is confined to only a few blocks.
