Power Outage Affects Ravenna, View Ridge, Windermere and Laurelhurst Neighborhoods
SEATTLE - Seattle City Light crews are working to investigate and restore power to about 3,300 customers in the northeast Seattle. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
The outage started about 9:30 p.m. An estimate for restoration of service is 11:45 p.m. for most customers.
The general boundaries of the outage are NE 35th St. on the north, NE 60th St. on the south, 53rd Ave. NE on the east and 9th Ave. NE on the west. Some customers in this area might not be affected.
High temperatures can add strain on our electrical equipment. Should the power go out, first check your main switch for a blown fuse or an open breaker. If that is not the problem, call City Light's Outage Hotline at (206) 684-7000 for a recording of all known outages. If your area is not mentioned, please let us know by calling (206) 684-3000.
