Restoration of Service Expected by 11:30 p.m.
SEATTLE - A tree that fell into a power line near West Emerson Street and Thorndyke Avenue W knocked out power for about 3,600 customers, including parts of the Seattle Pacific University campus, just before 6 p.m. today.
The outage stretched from an area surrounding Republican Street and Aurora Avenue in the South Lake Union and South Queen Anne neighborhoods, along the Ship Canal to Fort Lawton in the Magnolia neighborhood.
Seattle City Light immediately dispatched crews to make repairs. Restoration of service was expected by about 11:30 p.m.
