POWER BACK ON FOR NEARLY ALL CITY LIGHT CUSTOMERS
SEATTLE - Seattle City Light crews working through the night have restored electrical power to all but 90 of the utility's customers. Since 6 p.m. yesterday, up to nearly 20,000 people were without power from 19 separate outages, nearly all due to falling trees or branches.
Crews continue to work this morning to restore power to approximately 90 customers along 31st Ave., between E. Denny and E. Union. The current estimate for restoration is 3 p.m.
If power goes out, customers should call the City Light Outage Hotline at 206-684-7400. Current outage information also is posted at www.seattle.gov/light.
