Power out in parts of Lake City , Lake Forest Park and Burien
SEATTLE — Seattle City Light crews continue to respond to outages in the north and south ends of the service area. As one outage in Shoreline was repaired, crews were sent to a new outage encompassing Lake City, Lake Forest Park and Sheridan Beach area. This outage began about 4 p.m. Currently, it’s estimated about 4,000 customers have lost power in that area.
The other large outage is in Burien, where an estimated 4,000 customers are without electricity starting about 2 p.m. The cause of that outage is still being investigated.
A tree was responsible for knocking out power in Shoreline. There were an estimated 3,000 customers without power from about 1:45 p.m. until about 3 p.m.
The boundaries of the outage in Lake Forest Park/Sheridan Beach area are:
North: N 163rd St.; south NE 127th St.; east Lake Washington and west Meridian Ave N.
The boundaries of the outage in Burien are:
north: S. Director St.; south: SW 150th St. ; east 12th Ave. S and west: 25th Ave. SW.
The boundaries of the outages in Shoreline were:
North: N 205th St.; south: N 155th St.; east Aurora Ave N; and west: 14th Ave NW
