Downtown Outage Affects Two Buildings
SEATTLE - The loss of three feeders in the downtown network electrical system has caused a power outage to two buildings in downtown Seattle: The Bank of California (900 4th Ave.) and a new condominium tower, the Fifth and Madison Building. Crews are on the scene and working to restore power. The cause has been determined to be water in an electrical vault. The number of customers affected is unknown at this time. Restoration time is unknown but it’s expected that power will be out for the day as repairs are made. The outage began at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Nov. 4.
