Crews Restore Power in Fremont and Wallingford
Outage Affected About 4,000 Customers
SEATTLE - Seattle City Light crews have restored power to about 4,000 customers in the Fremont and Wallingford neighborhoods.
The outage started about 9 a.m. Crews discovered that a large bird had shorted a main feeder line, causing a circuit breaker to trip. The line was put back into service about 9:45 a.m.
The general boundaries of the outage were N 53rd Street on the north, N 39th Street on the South, Interstate 5 on the east and 3rd Avenue W on the west. Some customers in that area might not be affected.
