Power restored in South Seattle
SEATTLE - The power outage in the Rainier Beach and Skyway neighborhoods has been repaired. The cause of the outage was a tree branch that caused a short circuit. The outage was first reported at 10:45 a.m. and ended at 2 p.m. It’s estimated that at the height of the outage 3,724 customers were without power.
The boundaries of the outage were:
On the north, S Ryan St.; on the south, S 135th St; on the east, Rainier Av S; and on the west, 53rd Av South.
Not all customers within these boundaries lost power.
