SEATTLE -- Power currently is out to approximately 1079 City Light customers in the Northgate area, including a portion of the Northgate Mall. The approximate boundaries are: NE 120th on the north, NE 100th on the south, Roosevelt Ave. NE on the east and 7th Ave. NE on the west. When the outage first occurred, at about 12:20 p.m., more than 2500 customers were affected, but City Light was able to restore power to about 1500 people very quickly. Power is expected to back on for all customers by 4 p.m.
