UPDATE - Lake City Power Outage Restored
SEATTLE - An outage that started at 3:30 p.m. in Lake City this afternoon, has now been restored just over an hour later. About 5,568 customers were affected, up from the original estimate of 4,302 customers. The cause was a vault fire. The Seattle Fire Department is on the scene along with City Light crews. The original estimate for restoration was about 10 p.m. but the work went faster than expected. The boundaries were:
North: NE 125th St South: NE 92nd St East: 34th Ave. NE West: Fremont Ave N
This outage was not related to Saturday’s north Seattle power outage that was caused by transmission lines falling on distribution lines and is in a different location.
