SEATTLE - Power has been restored to most areas affected by a lunch time power outage that affected customers in the International District, Pioneer Square, First Hill and North Beacon Hill areas. About 250 customers remain without power as City Light crews make final repairs. The cause of the outage was a downed wire near the intersection of 6th Ave. S. and S. Atlantic St. The initial outage affected approximately 2,600 customers.
The general boundaries of the outage were on the north, E. Cherry St., on the south, S. Spokane St. on the east, 4th Ave S. and on the west 15th Ave S. Not everyone in that area is affected.
