SEATTLE - Outage Was Caused by Tree Falling Into Power Line
A tree that fell into a power line was the cause of an outage that affected about 4,600 customers in the Lake City area today.
The outage was reported about 12:30 p.m. and repair crews restored service to all customers within an hour.
The general boundaries of the outage were NE 106th Street on the north, NE 75th Street on the south, Lake Washington on the east and 8th Avenue NE on the west. Not everyone in that area was affected.
