Power Restored To Customers In King County, Burien
Faulty Underground Cable Caused Outage for 3,200 customers
SEATTLE - Repair crews restored power to about 3,200 customers in an unincorporated area of King County and Burien this morning after discovering a faulty underground cable that caused an outage.
The outage started around 6:30 a.m. Repair crews restored power to all customers by 10 a.m. by routing electricity around the failed underground cable. Repairs to the bad cable were underway.
The general boundaries of the outage were SW Barton Street on the North, SW 172 Street on the South, 4th Avenue S on the east and Puget Sound on the West. Not all customers within that area were affected.
