Power Restored in South Seattle and Burien
(Seattle)—City Light crews have restored power to all customers that lost service when a truck hit a power pole at the intersection of 1st Ave S. and S. 150th St., about 2 a.m. This pole was carrying a feeder that provides power to about 2500 customers in the south Seattle and Burien area. Power was restored to 97 percent of customers by 3:15 a.m. be rerouting power around where the accident occurred. About 50 customers remained without power until about 2:15 p.m. when a new pole can be brought in and installed. There was extensive damage done to the pole and two transformers as well as power lines.
