Power Restored In Ravenna/Bryan West And View Ridge Neighborhoods
SEATTLE — City Light repair crews restored power to about 3,300 customers in the Ravenna/Bryan West and View Ridge neighborhoods shortly after 2 p.m. today.
The outage was caused about 1:13 p.m. when a truck or some other large vehicle hit a utility pole a half block west of the intersection of 75th Street NE and 35th Avenue NE. The crash damaged underground cables connected to the pole. By the time crews arrived, the driver and vehicle had left the scene.
The general borders of the outage were 65th Street to the north, 30th Street to the south, 53rd Avenue to the east and 9th Avenue to the west. Some, but not all customers within those boundaries were affected.
