West Seattle Power Outage Update - Service Restored
SEATTLE- City Light repair crews have restored power to all 3,600 customers in the West Seattle area affected by outages this morning.
The first outage was roughly bordered by Alki Avenue on the North, Holly Street on the South, 31st Avenue to the East and Puget Sound on the West. The outage was caused by a tree falling into a feeder line for the neighborhood about 8:30 a.m.. Service was restored by 12:30 p.m.
During the course of repairs an additional 875 customers lost power about 10:25 a.m. Crews restored power to those customers at about 2 p.m.
