SEATTLE — Seattle City Light crews have restored power to all but 1,471 customers affected by an outage in the Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods. The outages were caused by a faulty cable. At one point, more than 10,000 customers were without power.
One outage still affects 1,300 customers within these boundaries:
North: West Barrett Street
South: West Harrison Street
East: 2nd Avenue North
West: 11th Avenue West
The second outage affects 171 customers. The boundaries are:
North: West Emerson Street
South: West Mercer Street
East: Taylor Avenue North
West: 32nd Avenue West
Seattle City Light is the ninth largest public electric utility in the United States. It has the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents.
