Meter Routes Improvement Project

To increase efficiency and reduce operating costs, City Light will be changing our meter reading routes over the next year. As a result, there may be a change in when you receive your City Light bill.

The first phase of this project affects customers in the southern part of our service territory (south of Yesler Way). The number of days in the next billing period may be greater or fewer than what is reflected on the current bill. This may impact the dollar amount of the bill.

After the adjustment is made, you will receive your City Light bills approximately every two months from the new billing date. (For example, if your new bill date is April 29th, you will start to receive bills in late June, August, etc.)

To find out if your account is affected, please use the map below to find your address. A box will populate with your read information. If your home is located in one of the overlapping areas, or on a border, you may find our check my route page to be helpful
