We can do great things together

dairy project In our region: Match your energy usage at the level of your choice by purchasing certified Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy        credits (RECs) sourced from renewable energy generators from the        northwest (WA, OR, ID). Green Up is available for your home
       or business.
dairy project In our community: Help fund local, renewable energy projects and educational outreach in our communities. The Green Up program
supports eligible non-profits, schools and public institutions by directly funding solar and innovative energy technologies, as well as clean energy educational programs.

Seattle City Light is already the nation’s greenest utility, but we strive to go beyond hydropower by supporting renewable energy development in regional service territories that still rely on fossil fuels for energy generation. Your participation goes toward the purchase of renewable energy credits (REC) to support renewable development across the northwest: projects generating energy from wind, geothermal and dairy biogas. View Green Up's Prospective and Historic Product Content Label to learn more about the mix of renewable resources in the Green Up product as well as the program’s Price, Terms and Conditions statement.

Seattle City Light Green Up is Green-e Energy certified, and meets the environmental and consumer-protection standards set forth by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions. Learn more at www.green-e.org.
