Green Power Program

Solar is working in Seattle

What is the Green Power Program?

Through your support, the Green Power Program funds local renewable energy demonstration projects not currently a part of City Light's resource portfolio. Funds help develop the local market for solar and raise awareness of renewable energy within our community.

Since, 2002, the program has completed solar electric projects at schools, universities, libraries, parks, and other not-for-profit facilities. A portion of funds are used for local education and training activites for students, building professionals, and the general public.

Please see our Green Power Accomplishments page for a list of completed solar projects. Payments may be any dollar amount.
