The City of Seattle is part of Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA), an organization of partners in the Snoqualmie River Basin. This group will develop a restoration program to protect and enhance river habitat for chinook and other salmon species.

Councilmember Margaret Pageler as a member of the Snohomish Basin Salmon Recovery Forum.
