Bonneville Power Administration
Pass-Through

Effective April 1, 2002

The energy rates shown below are those in effect for all customer classes prior to April 1, 2002, adjusted for the change in the BPA power cost pass-through which was effective on April 1, 2002. The adjustment for non-low-income residential and all general service classes is a decrease of $.0007 per kWh. The adjustment for low-income residential classes is a decrease of $.0004 per kWh. Lighting rates are not adjusted because they do not include the pass-through. The automatic adjustment of City Light rates for changes in the cost of BPA power is authorized by SMC 21.49.081, the provisions of which were most recently set forth in City Council Ordinance 120385, adopted in May, 2001. For more information, refer to BPA Pass-Through Facts or Rates History Detail.
